| 1 | Ensure sufficient light |
Recent research shows that a well-lit workplace can significantly increase productivity. This is not only about being able to read and write better. You are also fresher and more energetic in a well-lit workspace.
| 2 | Don't sit for too long |
Try not to sit for longer than 2 hours at a time. Take a short break regularly, go to the toilet or walk over to a colleague.
| 3 | Maintain a healthy body |
A strong and healthy body remains free from aches and other discomforts for longer. So, exercise sufficiently and keep yourself in good condition.
| 4 | Alternate tasks |
Don't focus on the same task for too long. You will be less aware of your posture and will cramp up more quickly, which can eventually lead to lasting complaints.
| 5 | Take your hand off that mouse |
Are you currently at a PC or laptop? Then there's a good chance you're holding your mouse. Not necessary if you're reading! Rest your arm for a moment, for example, on your lap.
