Working together to reduce returns
Free returns aren’t actually free

Free returns is a service we’ve been offering for a very long time and one we’re proud of. It gives you greater peace of mind and the flexibility to make the odd wrong purchase. Even when it isn’t used, we hear that it’s hugely appreciated.

Because returns aren’t free for us, we do our best in all sorts of ways to keep the number of returns low. With clear information on the website, advice via chat (hi Jesse), a phone line that’s answered almost immediately, and always a quick reply via email. Would you like to help us – and therefore yourself – to do even better? Read on to find out how!

  • Ask us for advice – making the right choice is even quicker and easier
  • Order and return multiple products in one go – don’t turn it into a 10-stage ‘Tour de Return’.
  • Write a product review – We sometimes miss a bit of information, but sharp as you are, you’ll have plenty to say about it. Write a product review and you’ll also be in with a chance of winning a €100 Ergowerken voucher
  • Give us some feedback – have we dropped the ball somewhere? Let us know by phone or email. If we can improve, you’ll benefit from it too

Steps for your return
The full picture in 8 steps

1. Log in!

Register your return via the returns portal. Have your order number to hand, state why you’re returning the product and choose how you’d like to send it back.

On weekdays, you’ll receive a message within 24 hours with everything you need. Having trouble? Feel free to call or email us – we’re happy to help.

2. Packing

Please pack your product neatly and double-check that it’s complete. We’d prefer it to be in its original packaging.

Place the packaging inside a outer box and fill it out well, so that the product is properly protected and is sure to arrive in good condition.

3. Label or QR code

In the returns portal, select your carrier. With DHL, you can choose between printing a label or using a QR code, which the parcel point will use to print the label for you. With DPD, you print the label yourself.

If you’re printing a label, stick it on the longest side of the box. Returns within the Netherlands are free; for Belgium, the cost is 6.95 including VAT.

4. Collection or drop-off

Head to your nearest parcel point.

You can return your parcel free of charge within 14 days of receiving the label.

5. Your parcel is being returned

Within the Netherlands, your parcel takes around 1–2 working days to arrive. Returns from Belgium take around 2–3 days.

We usually receive parcels in the afternoon. As soon as they arrive, we get straight to work on them.

6. Checking your product

We’ll process your return as soon as possible. We’ll check that it’s in full working order and ensure it’s still in top condition.

We always aim to inspect the product within 2–3 working days of receipt. We’ll then get in touch with you.

7. Replacement or refund

You’ve returned your purchase because you weren’t entirely satisfied with it. Perhaps it was the wrong size, or you simply didn’t like the product.

The choice is now yours. Would you like an alternative, or would you prefer a refund?

8. Return successful!

Your return has been processed and we hope we’ve been able to help you as you’d hoped.

If there’s anything you’d prefer to see done differently, please do let us know. We can improve our service step by step using all the feedback we’ve gathered.

Points to note, because nobody likes surprises

  •  For a free return from the Netherlands, your parcel must be no larger than 175x78x58 cm and weigh less than 30 kg.
  •  For a return label from Belgium, you’ll pay 6.95 including VAT. Your parcel must not exceed 175x78x58 cm in size
  •  Please check carefully for signs of wear and tear. If any are found, we’ll issue a credit note for up to 50% of the purchase price.
  •  If a product is returned soiled, cleaning costs may be charged.
  •  Cooling garments may be tried on, but the right to return them lapses once the cooling function has been activated.
  •  Have you unnecessarily damaged the product packaging or lost it? In that case, we will issue a credit note for up to 75% of the purchase price.
  •  Please ensure your product is complete and packed in the box in the same way as you received it
  •  You may request one return label per order
  •  If a defect is found to have been caused by use, you will be charged for the repair costs
  •  You have 14 days from receiving your free return label to return the product. After 14 days, we ask that you return it at your own expense
  •  For businesses – A maximum of one itemper product type may be returned. Would you like to order larger quantities but are unsure? Then order one first to test it amongst colleagues or customers

Tips for keeping your product in good condition during the trial period
This way, you can be sure your return will be processed quickly

1. Do not use your purchase intensively for 90 days

You may try out an item to assess it, but not use it. We’re giving you 90 days (30 for seating furniture) to receive your purchase, unpack it and try it out carefully. If you’re a bit quicker, you’ll have loads of days to think it over properly; if you’re in less of a hurry, you can take your time.

2. Take the very best care of the product

To keep the product in 100% condition, it’s a good idea to give it that little bit of extra care once it’s out of the box. This will help prevent scratches or other damage and make returning it a lot easier :-).

3. Keep your purchase in the box

Most product packaging is specially designed for the product inside. It’s therefore the ideal place to store your purchase during the cooling-off period. An added bonus is that this way, you’ll always keep the product in its original, complete condition.

4. Precautions for delicate products

Mice and keyboards are the sort of products that are a bit more susceptible to damage than others. When using them, make sure you take off your rings and bracelets, and ideally avoid using hand cream as well. In some cases, these can damage the coating.

When will a return not be accepted?

We cannot accept an incomplete or damaged product for a full refund. For example, a wrist rest without its accompanying desk clamp is considered incomplete. Scratches on the underside of a mouse are regarded as damage to the product.

We offer a trial period of up to 90 days!

Frequently Asked Questions

You can drop it off at the carrier’s collection points listed on the shipping label.
You can drop it off at one of the DHL points, which you can quickly find using this link.
No, not at all. You can print the label using a standard printer and, for example, stick it onto the box using some clear tape.
We’d really appreciate it. Product packaging isn’t designed to be transported unprotected. Using an outer box significantly reduces the risk of damage during transit, thereby increasing the likelihood of a successful return.
Please get in touch with us and, if possible, send a photo to [email protected]. We can often tell remotely whether or not the product will be approved.
A trial period gives you the opportunity to carefully examine and try out the product. We do not recommend using it for 90 days, as this greatly increases the likelihood of signs of wear and tear.
Damaged or missing packaging makes the product unsellable for us. We have to check whether a new box is available, order it and repackage the product.
If you can only open the product by cutting or tearing the packaging, you’re perfectly entitled to do so. In the event of a return, we’ll simply refund 100 per cent of the purchase price.
You have a 90-day cooling-off period in any case. If you decide to return the product within those 90 days, we’ll send you a return label. Once you’ve received this label, you have up to 14 days to use it. If you still have the product after those 14 days and are still within the 90-day cooling-off period, we’ll ask you to return the product at your own expense.
