Why the Penclic KB3 Compact keyboard?
Design
The Penclic is designed to be as low and narrow as possible. However, no compromise has been made here between comfort and the size of the board; the keys are the same size and are spaced as far apart as on any other 'normal' keyboard. However, there is no numpad on the Penclic, allowing you to place your mouse closer to the keyboard. This way, your elbows are kept closer to your body, which ensures a better working posture.
Additionally, the KB3 has flat and easy-to-press keys thanks to its scissor mechanism. The keyboard's low profile keeps your wrists as flat as possible. This prevents and alleviates RSI complaints.
Connectivity
You connect the Penclic KB3 via Bluetooth to all your devices; Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android. If your laptop does not have Bluetooth, you can connect it with the included USB cable. The USB cable also serves as the charging cable for the keyboard. Fully charged, the battery lasts about two weeks.
Matching NumPad
This keyboard does not have a numeric keypad. However, Penclic has developed an external NumPad that perfectly matches the KB3. The NumPad has flat keys and the ability to program macros. You can read more about the N3 here. You can add the N3 to your order at the top right of this page.

"Nooit geweten dat een klein toetsenbord ook ergonomisch was. Ik moet zeggen dat het erg prettig werkt en dat een ' normaal' toetsenbord daarna weer erg wennen is. Erg handig is ook dat het toetsenbord tegelijk aan twee laptops gekoppeld kan worden met bluetooth. Met een toetscombinatie kun je eenvoudig wisselen tussen de twee laptops, zonder opnieuw te moeten verbinden. De baterij gaat erg lang mee."

"Ik ben zo blij met dit toetsenbord. Heerlijk plat, toetsen staan aangenaam dicht bij elkaar en zo mooi. Het vrolijkt mijn werkplek helemaal op. Heel handig dat het toestel op meerdere apparaten kan aangesloten worden en zowel kabel als Bluetooth. Mij toetsenbord is azerty maar op de toetsen staat de qwerty-indeling. Voor mij geen probleem want ik werk altijd in azerty. Het toetsenbord is ook veel stiller dan mijn vorig, wat ook fijn is. En mijn polsen zijn ook instant blij 🙂"
