HEATED MOUSE MAT

Why do I need a heated mouse mat?
If you often suffer from cold hands while mousing (in winter), this can be a very unpleasant experience. De WarmeMat has developed a simple solution for this, namely heated mouse mats and desk pads.
Because these mats get warm (not hot!), blood circulation in the hands is promoted. This allows for more comfortable working. Primarily people who suffer from stiff or cold fingers, RSI complaints, or rheumatic joint complaints such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, or Raynaud's phenomenon will benefit from using the warm mats. The warmth ensures better blood circulation and thus also muscle recovery.
Please note: you can only connect the heated mouse mats and desk pads to 5 Volt USB 3.0 ports. For example, from a laptop, PC, or power bank.
What complaints does a heated mouse mat prevent?
Cold hands cause a great deal of discomfort. The paralysing effect of stiff, painful fingers can be extremely hindering during your daily activities. It is therefore pleasant that a heated mouse mat helps you keep the hand you use for mousing pain-free, flexible, and sharp so that you are not slowed down. With such a heated mousepad, you combat:
- Reduced freedom of movement due to stiff fingers
Cold, stiff fingers seem to work at half power. The brain knows perfectly well how to operate those 10 quick guys, but they themselves are not so sure. As soon as you warm up your mousing hand with a mouse mat, you'll be off like a shot again.
- Complaints such as chilblains, cold intolerance, and Raynaud's syndrome
Cold hands are no fun, let alone if you have one of the above complaints. With chilblains, cold causes itchy, burning, and painful hands because blood can no longer flow properly.
Cold intolerance occurs after an injury or surgery when a blood vessel or nerve has been damaged. The body then becomes hypersensitive to cold stimuli.
A vascular disorder such as Raynaud's syndrome also causes discomfort in your hand. You get numb fingers and painful fingers as a result of reduced blood supply.
- Discomfort in general
Whatever your reason for a heated mouse mat, if it can alleviate your discomfort, you should definitely go for it. Thanks to its surface, which can be heated up to 40 degrees, your hand remains nice and flexible, reducing the feeling of cold and hopefully your complaints too.

Frequently asked questions about the heated mouse mat
- How does the infrared in the heated mouse mat work?
Infrared heating works with invisible radiation. An infrared element runs through the mouse mat, which emits radiation when connected. This radiation is converted into heat when it comes into contact with your body.
- Does a heated mouse mat consume a lot of energy?
Not at all! We have created a table above outlining how much power a mouse mat uses per day, week, month, working year, and even based on frost days in 2023.
- Does a heated mouse mat not get too hot?
No. The heated mouse mats warm up to about 40°C. If you find that too warm, choose our mouse mat with an on/off switch. This can optionally be equipped with a dimmer, so you can adjust the temperature.
- Can I clean my mouse mat?
You certainly can, but do not use corrosive cleaning agents. Use a lightly damp cloth and ensure no water gets into the mouse mat.
- How long does it take for a heated mouse mat to get warm?
This usually takes a few minutes; it reaches temperature quite quickly.
