The 1-motor sit-stand desk frame is a big step towards an ergonomic working environment. The frame is electrically height-adjustable (71 to 121 cm), allowing you to easily alternate between sitting and standing; your workstation simply moves up and down with you.

Alternating between sitting and standing has benefits. For example, it promotes blood circulation, ensures better productivity, and significantly reduces back pain. Is it better not to sit at all? No, certainly not! Prolonged standing can also cause aches and pains, such as stiff legs and a stiff back. With a sit/stand desk, you can perfectly combine both worlds.

The advantage of the 1-motor sit-stand desk frame is that assembly is very easy. Thanks to the clear manual and the included assembly tools, the frame is set up within fifteen minutes. This is only the second desk our own content creator, Chiara, has ever assembled, and it took her 15 minutes. We can assure you that you can do this too. Please note: this desk is not assembled at home by Ergowerken.

What makes the 1-motor sit-stand desk frame so good?

Normally, a motor is incorporated into each column of an adjustable desk. However, the 1-motor sit-stand desk frame is equipped with, you guessed it: a single motor. With the help of clever technology, this is strong enough to (literally) lift the entire desk to a higher level.

The load capacity of the 1-motor sit-stand desk frame is 70kg. If your desktop weighs 15kg, you still have 55kg left for your monitor, computer, keyboard, mouse, mug of hot coffee, phone, notepad, and much more. Should be enough, right?

In addition to being height-adjustable, the desk frame is also width-adjustable. This gives you a lot of flexibility when choosing a suitable desktop. A desktop suitable for the 1-motor sit-stand desk frame has the following dimensions: 1000-1600 mm long and 500-800 mm wide. Screws are included in the supplied assembly kit to secure the desktop.

Correct height

A good desk alone is not enough; it must also be adjusted to the correct height to be used ergonomically. A desk is set to the correct height when you can rest your forearms at a 90º angle on the desktop. Make sure the angle is certainly not smaller. This prevents hunched shoulders and, consequently, upper body complaints.
